Per The Ticket: Mavs beat writer Eddie Sefko claims Dallas and Detroit have agreed in principle to a sign and trade that would send Ben Wallace to Dallas for Jerry Stackhouse, Dasagana Diop and a 2007 draft pick. The trade would be completed on or shortly after July 1st, when NBA free agency begins.

i know sefko has lost alot of credibility but if this is true it could spell trouble for us! :depressed

Did you actually here that on The Ticket in Dallas, or did you just copy it from someone else?

It seems shady to me. I would think that Eddie Sefko would print it, not just say it on the radio and it would be all over the web.

the grapevine kori...a friend of mine messaged me with that. i dont know where he got the info from. that is why i posted it here to see if anyone else heard of this and if it had any truth to it.

I saw something similiar on the Pistons board ... but then it was deleted.

You know, wgaf....... Ganes have to played... teams have to be free of injury, etc. etc.

SA and Detroit were the best teams this year and they didn't make it...... wgaf.

the worst thing about it, i think diop has alot of upside, ben wallace will be the second comin of erica dampier just with the acolades.

The guy who started the thread didn't hear it on The Ticket. He just got it from someone else who said someone else heard it on The Ticket.

Anyway, I'm closing this thread unless someone else from Dallas can confirm that it was even said on The Ticket.

I think it's just a guy on an Aggie Forum making up crap.
