Barry and Udrih to the New Orleans/Slidell/Oklahoma City Hornets for Smith, Claxton, and perhaps a pick. The Hornets receive the veteran wing shooter they have traded for before and a young point guard who would be a nice backup and combo guard to run with Chris Paul. Spurs get the solid veteran backup point and scorer off the bench as well as the young athletic perimeter player they were quite happy to take back last February.

Win. Win.

Hornets also finally get rid of the locker room poison that is Scott v Smith.

I know this time of year is all about speculating on NBA moves, but I thought I read very early on in the summer that the Hornets want to keep Speedy Claxton. Are there reports that the Hornets are willing to trade him?

Basically if Speedy decides to sign here, they'll do what we hope the Spurs do with Nazr. Sign him and trade him here, for say Barry. That way we dont have to use any of the MLE.

That sounds like a good trade, I'd like to see the spurs get JR.

Interesting to open this thread; at first, I thought SPARKY had just mistyped whottt's handle.

I was just reading an article on espn.com and I think I read that the Clippers may be willing to trade Corey Maggette. I am a Clipper fan and I love that guy.
