Just watched (while doing other stuff, too) the Derek Trucks Band on HDTV. 'Kid can make the SG sing, especially with the Coricidin D bottle slide.

Anyone else into their music?

Are you talking about a band?... or a medicine for gout? What the hell is a coricidin D? Are you being vulgar??? I am so lost.

:lol Sorry you didn't understand me. See the photo below. Derek Trucks (his actual name) is pictured and he has played professionally since he was 11 years old and is the nephew of Butch Trucks, drummer with the Allman Brothers Band. He is playing "slide" guitar, a playing technique with his left ring finger inserted into a clear glass bottle and sliding the bottle up and down the neck of the guitar. Duane Allman used an empty Coricidin D (cold and flu decongestant) medicine bottle as his "slide". Duane popularized it and many others have used one, or something similar to it through the years. You can't get medicine in a glass bottle like that any more, but you can still buy specialty glass bottles like that - specifically made for slide guitarists.

I assure you, I am not a vulgar man. I hope that explains it better.
