after signing Peja/Bjax and possibly Tyson Chandler are looking to be much more competitive next season. Chris Paul is going to be a superstar in this league. What does this mean for thier division? Being part of the toughest divisions in the league, where do you think they will rank? Will they make the post-season?

That Southwest Division is going to be murder. The Pacific will be tough. Very tough, but the Southwest could find four to five teams make the payoffs.

The most logical playoff contenders in each division are...

Pacific: Suns, Clippers, Kings.... then Lakers challenging for final birth.
Midwest: Nuggets... then Jazz challenging for final birth
Southwest: Spurs, Mavs, Grizzlies... then Hornets and Rockets challenging for final birth.

midwest? Has the NBA changed the divsions around again?

Anybody heard that they will allow overall WC record determine the seedings to avoid the disaster of last playoff seedings? Because it sure looks like the n/w division winner will again be lower than 3rd place record

You haven't been following the new alignment. Check the NBA.com standings page for details. The top 4 seeds in each conference will be based strictly on record, fixing last year's disaster. No home court for losers, even in the first round.
