Pargo is probably the best we could do from that.

Oh, and hold the Scola.

Is he injury prone? On his NBA.com profile, he hasn't played many games.

Pargo was stuck behind the logjam at the point in Chicago last year. He was playing for a qualifying offer so neither party really wanted him there.

Haven't seen much of Pargo lately.

How about Milt Palacio? He's 6'4 and only 28. Anyway you cut it, that list is pretty thin.

Payton needs 2 retire. He's got his ring it's time to move on. It's his life and if he enjoys playing that's up to him but he's so far from what he used to be it's getting a little sad.

Hey if it takes Mohammed to land Evans, I'd be all for it.

I don't see why everyone is dead set against Mohammed coming back.

If he comes back at 4 years 20 mill, they sign Evans and Pargo.

Whats so bad about that?

I don't think they'll sign Nazr, Evans and Pargo. They are too close to luxury tax. If they sign Nazr, then I'd guess they don't use the whole MLE.

And I think some team (maybe Portland?) will offer Nazr more than 20M.

If Portland offers Nazr more than 20M, why not orchestrate a big man swap for Prz?

Or is this assuming Prz goes to Detroit?

I was assuming Przybilla goes to Detroit, then Portland would consider Nazr I would think.

Ok, Kori. I think it's practically done that Detroit gets Przybilla.

At this point I'm all for sticking the money back in the pockets, as far as full-MLE guys go.

I love his passing...
and unselfishness in the court.

He's pretty much hated by anybody who has ever been his teammate.

There's a reason that he's been on 10 teams in 9 years or whatever it is.

He was a decent passer in his brief stint with the Clippers, but hasn't done much else in the rest of his career.

Pargo is a solid player who is a great ball handler with great court vision. Not only that but he is a very good 3 point shooter. He is a solid defender and comes from a defensive minded team like the Chicago Bulls. I would not mind him being Parker's backup at all. He has confidence and the skills to play.

Pargo is my firsst choice, then Palacio.

Pargo has really improved since Tony made him fall over during the 110-82 in the 2003 playoffs.

My one memory of him was when he hit like 5 3's in the final 3 minutes of a playoff game in 2005 against the Wizards. Was incredible. Solid player, and you could do much worse at backup PG.

Banks will probably get more money than the Spurs would be willing to offer and thats even if they like him. Incredibly athetlic and very fast, decent defender as well. Not really a great PG in terms of running the team though.

Atkins can shoot it and thats about it. Decent enough player, who would be acceptable as a backup for sure. Also a PG who can be counted on to make volume 3 pointers, the Spurs haven't had that for ages.
