I know Kori said somewhere she had a feeling we'd have him for a year...

Does anyone object to this? He was an All-Star once and he'd probably better than anything we've had since David.

Why is Milwaukee giving him up?

I said him or Fortson because they are just expiring contracts for next year.

I don't know if Magloire has much left, but the Bucks are definitely trying to trade him.

Who do you trade him for, Barry? You would need to use part of you MLE, if you can? Then who do you replace Barry with. Unless you wait till Aug and use Williams as well. But you're still depleting your backout help.

Magloire had a decent year last year, cusping on 10 and 10, with 1 block. He's only 28 - why does he not have much left?

Just going by what Bucks fans say. He keeps coming into camp fatter and fatter each year. Maybe he just needs better discipline.

If he was more driven and in better shape, I think he would be pretty awesome on the Spurs. Unfortunately, he doesn't really act like it given what the Bucks fans say. Maybe SA would be a good scenario for him. Pop would bust his ass into shape.

How much left on the contract for jamaal?

Don't like him. Never liked him. I'm not surprised he reported to camp out of shape. He strikes me as a guy who was simply looking for the big bucks for only 1 all-star season.

He doesn't rebound or defend well enough - expiring contract or not!

Magloire was good 2 years ago, last year not so good.

I don't want to put any ideas including Barry because I think the Spurs can still do that JR Smith trade.

Yeah, ask the Pacers about Peja, that always works out.

I'm a big Fortson fan, but that aside he's probably an easier acquisition; the Sonics would give him away, probably even for just a Barry-caliber player. He wouldn't be any worse against Dirk if the Spurs did play him than Magloire, either - in fact, he might be the Spurs' best option in that regard. Put him in for 5 minutes in Game 1 and have him break both of Dirk's hands; problem solved. :lol

Magloire is available, but I don't expect the Bucks to just dump him.
