Lets not go into "panic mode" guys. Harrington is going where he'll get paid and that's not in San Antonio.

The Spurs have no chance of getting him.

Guys like Al Harrington are not comming to San Antonio just because they want to play with Tim Duncan or be coached by Pop. Guys like Al Harrington don't give a rats ass about that. He'll go where the $$$ are even if that's staying with the Hawks.

Maybe when Al is 33 and he's never won anything and the Spurs are still among the best in the league, he'll consider it.

Yeah, and they were all in their mid 30s.

5 years and 30 million will get his agent a good laugh before he hangs up the phone on you.

Spurs won't be a best team in the league forever. I think this year is their last true year to contend and possibly the year after. I'd love for them to get Harrington because they need SOMETHING.

I heard he's looking for around $8M/year to start.

Do most of it under the table, too. Why not buy him some hookers and blow, while we're at it?

Spurs are limited to $5M a year to offer.

:)

The Spurs don't have that much. They have the MLE(~5.4M to start with 8% raises), which is about $24M over 4years or $30M over 5 years.

People need to stop wildly throwing names around, and settle down and let what happens happens.
