So, I'm checking it out and I see Patrice Pike belting out some Janis. Damn, I used to catch her way back in the day when she was out of Austin with "Little Sister" in a grimy beer joint in Stillwater Ok. Girl has pipes.

I thought everybody was between average and lousy. Nobody really stood out... I couldn't even say who was my favorite. Very underwhelming group.

I thought the Aussie was pretty good, as was Patrice Pike. The weird African broad who sung "Lithium" didn't get me nearly excited as it did everyone else. Guess I had to be there.

And oh yeah... the Puerto Rican chick singing Evanessence blew hard.

Now I remember this show. I liked it last summer when it was INXS.

I am not at all a Tommy Lee fan but Dave Navarro is good on the show, so it might be okay.

Hopefully the singers are half way decent.

I didn't like her hoodie or her "my feet are on fire "dance at then end.

Also I wish her hair color was not so all over the place. It takes away from her pretty eyes.

It is strange to me how some guys flat iron their hair.

I mean, I guess there is no reason that they shouldn't, but still... it seems more trouble than I would expect a guy to go to.

Ha... Matt just gave those other two suckballs life... Duran Duran? That has to go down as one of the biggest reality TV mistakes in history.

And if you didn't see it yesterday, Chris (the first guy) sucked uberhard. There is no reason for him not to be first to go, but Matt went and gave a reason.

Curious to see what happens.

But for the sake of the audience, I say keep the unqualified guy who can sing a week longer than guy number two who also isn't the one and sounds awful.

Well, Iris was given to them as one of the songs to choose from, just as Yellow by Coldplay was, which I think was totally butchered by the guy kicked off tonight.

listen to her newest CD, and these 3 losers are way out of her league.....by a lot. read her credentionals and these guys are to simple minded for a person like her.......her smarts will be too intimidating.

I agree wholeheartedly, I don't see her fitting with those three. Even in the way back (when I used to see her) when she was starting, her style wasn't "hard rock".

Quite honestly, I see her parlaying this into something she can use for her own band.

I've only seen the show once and wasn't too impressed. One question though..................who was that crazy chick that sang the Nirvana song, maybe Lithium. She was pretty entertaining and her eyes were crazy.

she says one of her biggest influences is Tina Turner. I hear that in her. That same deep raspy voice.

You know different strokes for different folks I guess, but to me she is AWESOME, Different, and would fit Supernova well.

One more thing...she is no NEWBIE onto the music scene. She has several other cd's with her own bands from other countries where she is known and loved.

I don't disagree she'd be a good fit with Supernova... and she sounds better on the myspace page you sent me too. But thus far in Supernova I've not been impressed. (And she may want to be careful with Brittany Spears covers).
