An ice cream has been created that is so hot customers must sign a waiver before tasting it.
Cold Sweat was created by shop owner when he wanted to create an ice cream to appeal to Hispanic customers
Wilson started out experimenting with jalapenos in vanilla ice cream which was unsuccessful - and finally ended up with Cold Sweat.
The ice cream is made with three kinds of peppers and two kinds of hot sauce at the shop in Cary, North Carolina.
According to newsobserver.com customer Rod McCallum said: "I thought it was a cool idea, but I didn't think he'd make it that hot. It tasted like fire - with a side of fire."

I had ice cream with a lot of fresh ginger in it once, and while it was good, that was about as spicy as I get with my ice cream.

They make ice cream with all kinds of things in it on Iron Chef on the Food Network. Lobster...onions...mushrooms...whatever the secret ingredient is, somebody (at least one of the chefs) usually makes ice cream. Emeril has made ice cream from some pretty strange stuff, too, all kinds of peppers and hot things (don't remember garlic ice cream, though). He's made beer ice cream several times. And ice cream with all kinds of liqueurs and flavored vodkas (he made some lemon sherbet once with lemon vodka that looked really yummy). He's famous for putting Grand Marnier in desserts and over ice creams with other stuff in it. And he made Guinness Ice Cream once. It looked pretty good, but I couldn't imagine the flavor.

Brindles on Huebner Rd. has like over 300 kinds of ice creams.
They have one that is made out of habanero peppers. :vomit:

Amy's ice cream in Austin used to have a flavor called Chipotle Peanut Butter that was surprisingly good - but I haven't seen it there in a while.

I had Ginger, but with wipped cream. Maybe if I'd tried it with ice cream
we would still be together :lol
