I am giving my dog away. Any takers?

Unfortunately, circumstances are such that I no longer have the time to look after my dog. I was going to place an ad in the E-N, but I thought I would give the ST community the right of first refusal.

He's a one-year old Maltese/Poodle mix ("Maltipoo"). He is a small dog, maybe weighing 7 or 8 pounds. I tried to post pics of him, but I don't know how to post pics from my desktop. I can email pics to anyone that is interested.

I would prefer that he go to a home that has kids or someone that will be at home during the day to keep him company. He is very affectionate and requires a lot of attention.

I'm still looking for takers for my puppies. I haven't had anyone offer them a good home. I might end up just going up the road and standing on the side and giving them away to passer bys.

I made signs but only one person has called about them but she was just looking for one for her neighbor that won't be back until July 12th.

I've been looking for a small dog for my mom. She's home all day long and with my kids getting older and not needing her as much, she needs company and something to keep her busy. We got her another dog a while back that grew too large (I was told it would stay small, I guess the giant paws should have tipped me off). She had to take it to her friend's house to live there.

Anyway, if you don't have any takers please let me know.....this is exactly the kind of dog my mom would love! She used to have a poodle when I was a kid that I think she loved more than me!
