Only Current Active Players.....

A few will be easy to pick out...

No. 1 ----- Tracy McGrady
No. 3 ----- Allen Iverson
No. 8 ----- Kobe Bryant
No. 20 ---- Manu Ginobili
No. 21 ---- Tim Duncan (I don't care how much SickDSM will argue otherwise)
No. 23 ---- LeBron James
No. 32 ---- Shaquille O'Neal

But others will be highly debatable... fill out the list.

not to sound like too big of a wet blanket to the joke here, but AJ wears #7. Marquis Daniels wears #6 for Dallas.

But the question is Who is the best (current, active) player to wear number ...? not Who is the best player that wears number ...?

So the Avery joke still applies.

I originally had him on my last edit... But I must have overwritten him...

12 is between Ricky Davis, Vlade Divac, Chris Anderson and Bruce Bowen. My homeristic tendencies lead me to choose Bowen... after all, he is a First Team All NBA Defender. But I suppose Ricky Davis would be the popular choice.

of that group, when asked to name the "best player," sadly, I suspect most people would still take Divac. There's got to be a better #12 somewhere, doesn't there?

Of the four you listed, I think Bruce and Vlade would easily beat out Ricky Davis in terms of their value to their respective teams.
