I guess I'll fit right in since I'll be laughing at the rest of the division as LJ goes for 2,000 yards!!!

He won't get 2000. That would require something near 500 carries and, while he thinks he carries a chip on his shoulders, that's something Larry Johnson can't do. ESPN needs to shut up about him going for 2k already.

You do realize, that last year he had 1750 yards in only 336 carries right? That means he only needed 48 more carries... for a total of 384
and since he started as a backup behind Priest, there were 5 games in which he had less than 10 carries. If he averaged 25 carries in those 5 games, his numbers would have been 2197.2 yards on 422 carries.
He definetly can do it. Will it happen or not is another question.

He sure as hell won me a fantasy title last season. Thank God for gutsy 6th round picks.
But with the Chiefs - as the O-line goes, so goes the offense. The anchors have gotten older and wearier. We'll see if they have another full season in them.
Go Broncos.

How good can the Broncos be if they can't beat the Rams and barely beat the Trent Green-less Chiefs at home by a OT FG?

Who knows, but last year they lost to the 8-8 Dolphins, then barely beat an underachieving Chargers in week 2. They then went on to a 13-3 record. So you never know..........but you have a point.

I'm expecting some to point out the win over the Patriots as a quality win, but I'm skeptical since the Pats have their own problems right now and didn't look all that impressive despite barely getting by the Bills and Jets in weeks 1 and 2.
I will say this-Javon Walker is looking like a very good pick-up for the Broncos right now.

Hey, a win in New England is a good win, no matter how you cut it. I'm still up in the air about the Broncos this season but my undying love for them has me drinking the kool-aid a bit more then I probably should be.

Broncos | Brandon turns himself in after a warrant is issued
Wed, 27 Sep 2006 22:46:29 -0700
The Associated Press reports <A href="http://www.kffl.com/team/15/nfl">Denver Broncos S Sam Brandon (http://www.kffl.com/player/5682/nfl) turned himself in to Douglas County court officials Wednesday, Sept. 27 after a warrant was issued for his arrest. Brandon faces a charge of violating a restraining order and violation of his bond conditions, according to district attorney spokeswoman Kathleen Walsh. Both charges are misdemeanors and Brandon was released on a personal recognizance bond, despite objections from a prosecutor. He is due in court Nov. 17 for a pretrial conference on the new charges and a domestic violence case from July 2005.
