20 yrs ago, the Mets beat Boston in a Classic 7 game World Series, when Bill Buckner's infamous error helped the Mets come back to win game 6, sending the decisive game 7 back to Shea Stadium. So it would only be fitting that 20 years later, we have a rematch of this series. Boston is very capable of winning the AL pennant, and the Mets are really a shoe in this year, so it is not a stretch to predict the rematch.
This time, Boston will prevail.

I like the Astros to make it. Not that I am a fan, but with Huff and his ability to play multiple positions, the lineup is much better. Great trade by the Astros which will pay huge dividends when Ensberg gets back.
They have improved themselves enough to give the Mets some serious problems in the playoffs.

The Angels will goto the playoffs.
The Angels will win a playoff series.
Their starting pitching rivals any staff in baseball. And they are putting it together now.
I expect them to buy a bat from somewhere, they need a firstbaseman specifically, though I still think Kotchman will be a top quality ML first baseman.
I wouldnt be surprised to see Jeff Mathis and one of Erick Aybar, Howie Kendrick, Brandon Wood included in any deal. You could also see a guy like a Joe Saunders included if someone wants an arm.
Now you just have to ask....whom?
I know the Angels wouldnt mind getting rid of hte following:
Darren Erstad and Adam Kennedy.
I have heard they have talked about shopping Garrett Anderson for a younger left fielder; though he should be an Angel until he retires, but thats a different story.

Well, the past 2 yrs the Red Sox & White Sox have broken loooooooong droughts.
And neither team was a big fav @ the start of their championship seasons to win it all.
Anyone have those odds to see how long they were against the Red/White Sox the past 2 yrs?
Maybe another team that is a semi long shot will win it this yr?

I take it back, it would be the Padres, they lead the West and have never won a WS.
Safe to say THEY WONT win the World Series though.
