It'll be hilarious when all the big FA's are off the table and Buss is still holding on to the '08 plan... then everyone will realize, he was just being cheap.

I guess it just isn't Holt.

I guess you're as stupid as we thought.

Nice selective quoting, you obviously missed the second part of his post where he said

relax every1, its just jokes

I feel sorry for you, for someone who has such an inferiority complex about San Antonio not being called a big market, you sure do lap up the small town excuse making by the Spurs front office and Excuse for News.

You actually think he put that there to be serious? He put that there because he didn't want to be banned.

That board is full of nazi's. You say one bad thing and you're banned.

And this isn't about San Antonio or market size.

Which you want to make it into.

It was a joke thread on my part countering all the BS about Holt and his tight wallet.

It's everywhere.

Did you miss this quote Aggie?

or stupid.

All of these "plans" are pipe. Buss got played, plain and simple. Brian Grant could be his lasting legacy . . . too bad.

Dolan is the last of the big spenders, and even he is putting away the checkbook.

You're alright, Buddy. I wish all Spurs fans were as ignorant, it'd make my life easier.

Spending big money, bidding against yourself, and overpaying for players winds up hamstringing you in the end. It kills your team.

Buss has never run a huge payroll. Notice that once Kobe got his major contract, he was the only one getting paid in LA. When Shaq was on that huge deal, Kobe was on his rookie deal and a middling contract for 3-4 years after that.

Odom's got a big contract, 3years $40 million remaining, I know he signed it elsewhere but it's still on the Lakers books.

Still doesn't constitute a huge payroll, which is what I actually said. Last year they had $72M on the books. Small market Orlando had $75M.

Black. (just so you'll say "White", Quad....)
