Rio Grande Blood is a great album. I agree with the Ministry>NIN statement.

Lauren Hill and the Roots play instruments, but generally I agree.

Ministry is honestly the greatest band of all neo time. Anyone alive from 1983 to today must realize this.

pretty ignorant, here's just a taste:

I'll bet you didn't know that Flava Flav is a classic pianist!?! Half the songs on the last Roots album were played by him. He also plays drums, bass, guitar (17 instruments total)...his mom was trained on the piano and taught him how to play as well.

arranging beats, mixing with turntables, and production are all just as important as playing an instrument. you have to know music to be able to do it. and yes, ministry > nin. odd you would say that, ministry samples and uses a drum machine a lot, much like hip-hop.

I'll stick to classic rock.

I haven't heard any Ministry since the Psalm 69 album. Suddenly I have the urge to download it.

Al is on another level compared to Trent, and Trent also was completely influenced by Ministry when he first started NIN. Al even took him under his wing when he was first starting out. I dont think I've ever heard a band evolve like Ministry, making good music all the way through.

LOL, trent looks like a baby, and Al is probably fucked up on smack. This pic just makes me laugh for some reason.
