Does that mean we stopped pursuing him in a trade? Anyone heard anything about this?

I don't know if we were really high on Smith. A goal of the Barry/Smith+Macijausjas was to dump Barry's contract.

I've read that Chicago wasn't high on Smith (don't know if it's right).

I would imagine Chicago would like to keep him for a while.

I'd imagine Chicago would like to get rid of him ASAP. He is not a Scott Skiles player.

He doesn't make much, like maybe 1.5M. If he had the blessing of ownership, it wouldn't surprise me to see Skiles outright cut him if he acts up.

Man, I hope so.

If he thought his relationship with Byron Scott was contentious, wait until he gets a load of Skiles. Because he seemingly lacks fundamentals, I can't see him being a Skiles type of player.

Well, unless having a working alarm clock or some other method of making sure you're on time is "a fundamental", that's not what he lacks.

Hmmmm. Stunts like that wouldn't even work in college. Oops, I forgot. He didn't go to college.
