He could not let the last Rocky with Tommy Gunn be the last that was pure crap. I hope this one turns out decent I like Sly Stallone.

Sly's career really is in the toilet. In terms of the older action stars only Eastwood with some if his acting and directing and Connery were decent into their 60s. Burt Reynolds is beyond laughable, Bronson is even worse and Chuck Norris has a big cult status but nobody goes to see his movies (they've grossed like $2.00 since he turned 55). I didn't mention Arnold as he is a personal favorite and can do no wrong.
