what do you think this offseason would be like so far vs. the way it is now?

Would have kept at least Rasho or Nazr.

We'd still look for an athletic 3 off the bench maybe.

I'd guess it would have been Rasho... I think Nazr wanted out regardless and I have a feeling Rasho would have came up big against Shaq and would have been redeemed in a lot of Spurs fans eyes.

I think nazr would have been gone
rasho maybe because spurs could not give him away before

I think we would be exactly where we are now. Spurs have desparately wanted to dump Rasho's contract, so I could see that happening either way.

I think if they'd won the championship, they would have been every much as passive in FA as they've been.

We actually might have been able to snag Alonzo for a year or two.....

Then again, people might not have cared much what happened this off season because we'd have our 4th title in what 7 years and would have won our back to back.

Had the Spurs won the title, this thread and many others wouldn't exist.

... they would not be quite so cheap because of all the increased revenue those additional games would have produced.

We'd still be doomed!

I don't think much would have changed. Nazr would still be gone in a flash, only with a slightly bigger paycheck for having twice as much championship experience. Rasho might have netted a little better talent for the trade, but the Spurs were looking to ship him out for a while and I don't expect a sudden wave of sentimentality would have washed over the front office with a second title.

FA's would still be reticent to sign anywhere where the purse strings are held so tightly. Teams would probably be less likely to play ball with us on S & T's since no one wants to help a champ get better.
