We'll have a chat on Wednesday at 7PM central time to discuss the rules, options and schedule regarding the fantasy basketball leagues. The will be votes that will decide how the leagues are played, so please try to make it.

If you can attend the chat, please let us know in this thread. If you can't make the scheduled chat, please post in this thread and tell us so we won't be expecting you.

Thanks.

P.S.

The draft time for League 2 has changed. Please check that thread.

Funny how most of us who spend 75% of our time on the Pc might not be able to make the chathttp://www.sahoops.net/smilies/lmao.gif

Can't make it... I pretty much will be ok with whatever the the group decides.... becuase in the end everyone will compete on the same playing field... Unless for some reason someone ends up with Duncan, Bryant and O'Neal on their squads....

Anyhow, Timvp once issued the scoring algorithm which I agreed with (as it's pretty much the Virtual GM scoring method).

(PTS + TotalREB + AST + STL + BLK) - (FGMissed + FTMissed + TO)

I would also probably add a one point deduction for each Technical Foul a player is called for... (to reward fairplay).

That would be 2AM Thursday morning for me on a weekday.
No can do.

Looking forward to read about the voted setup.

timvp, a suggestion: since you're having the drafts on different days, you may want to see if people who can't make the draft for League 1 can work out a switch with someone in League 2, and vice versa.

Unless that's too complicated to do, of course.

It's during baseball, so it's really probably not a good time for most people.

Good news for everyone. Yahoo added more live draft times so I snagged a couple up.

So now the draft times are:

League 1 -- 6:30PM CST on October 30th
League 2 -- 2:00PM CST on October 23rd

Be sure you get there about 10 minutes early. Just log into Yahoo and go to the league page where you see a listing of the teams. Once it's time to draft, there will be instructions on how to enter the draft.

Darn, I was looking forward to the draft in the chatroom.
I hope this will work on Yahoo!

1:30AM it is.

The chatroom would have been a chaos. Now it will be much easier to know who is still left on the board and it will be timed so it won't go all day.

Will there still be a chat tonight on league settings? Turns out I can make it.

That's what I was wondering, too. I'm there now but nobody else is. Figured there at least would be a 'Stros chat going.
