If someone matches the offer before the vBookie closes, I'll just return everyone's money.

Why is "Just NY will match" 20 to 1? Isn't that the most likely scenario?
Mr. Body
07-13-2006, 11:51 AM
I jumped on those 20/1 odds. This bookie's going out of business!

so if the odds are listed on the bet page as our bets 20/1 did we get it in before the edit? i see kori is banking on neither to keep re-growing her once vast vbookie fortune.

I voted NY only, but my odds are 20/1 instead of 3/1 as I must have gotten my bid in before the edit was made.
If I win do I get the 20/1 odds or 3/1?
I don't know if this was question was answered initially.

My name doesn't show up anymore -- has vBookie somehow lost my bet?

It means you're a poor man who couldn't bet enough. :lol
When more than 20 people bet on a certain outcome only the 20 largest bets are shown. You should still be able to click on vbookie and then my bets and see your bet.

no way. they would have had to win 20 straight bets, doubling up, just to win about $26 million....and these guys have waaaay more than that.....
...i'd like to believe they have the money winning bets, but that cannot be the case.

First off a lot of bets pay off higher than just doubling your money.
Second, taking my bets as an example, I have participated in 570 :huh vBookie bets. Going broke several times before creating a bank large enough to bet comfortably.

If one of the teams matches, I'm busted. So do you wash dishes at a GTG to get some scratch once you've crapped out or do you have to create a new screen name?

When you hit zero, you get another $25 next time I make a new vBookie.

Woo Hoo! So I basically get this bet for free.
Wait a second. Maybe I already went bust and didn't realize it. Man I suck at gambling. The last bet I won was on the super bowl. I gave the guy six touchdowns. :lol

Thank you Kori for changing the odds on "just NY will match". :tu
At 20-1, it was a toss up. But at 3-1, I passed for the bigger odds. :elephant
