What if the day after the loss to the Mavs management came out to a press conferance and said
"We played hard, we got on our horses and rode them as far as they could take us.
It wasn't far enough.
I feel as though the city of San Anton deserves more then a second round exit.
We are going to go out and sign the back-up center from the Nuggets and the third string center from the Knicks. I feel as though that would put us over the top.
Long live the Spurs dynasty"
How many of you would have grabbed your torches and head out to the castle to burn them out?
