Dallas Cowboys safety Keith Davis, 27, was recovering at Baylor Medical Center Dallas Sunday after he was shot twice while driving along Interstate 635 at about 5 a.m. Sunday.

Police said Mr. Davis was driving westbound on the highway near the North Dallas Tollway when a dark-colored vehicle with tinted windows pulled alongside his Chevrolet Impala and someone shot at him several times.

Dallas police are investigating motive and suspects.

Police said Mr. Davis is in stable condition and his injuries are not considered life-threatening.

Drive by at 75 MPH. Christ.

Uh, I'll refrain from inserting a joke here. But 75 mph? Goodness.

And he's not killed. It hasn't been reported yet anyways. All indications so far are only that he was shot in the head and thigh...no updates yet.

If traffic isn't stopped on 635 it's going at least 75, and traffic isn't stopped at 5 am.

This is not the first time Davis has been shot... last time Parcells cut him because he wanted the team to keep out of situations that can result in this type of thing (right when he first signed on as coach)... we don't know all the circumstancse of this one, but we'll see what happens.
