Update:Boone underwent surgery on Wednesday to repair a torn labrum in his left shoulder and is expected to miss between four and six months,the Newark Star Ledger reports.

Recommendation:This is a big blow for the Nets,who were expecting Boone to be a big part of the team's power foward rotation.
