Golden State, they were off to a good start last year and appeared to be on track to make the playoffs, before they were slowed by injuries.

Has to be LA.

The key they were missing is more offense to take the pressure off Kobe and experience (as a group, with the tri, pressure situations).

Phil will have the boys ready to go this year.

Well, then...God has spoken. They might as well not bother to play the season. :rolleyes

Yes. They are. That is why your out of hand remark puzzled me. I thought maybe you did not know that (that "they are kinda of (sic) a pretty good team"). The scoreboard and season stats did not show the true picture of the Hornets last season. I will reserve judgment about the playoffs next season until at least after the allstar break...but they may surprise.

They might shock us if they make the playoffs next season.

The Rockets, no big signings, got younger a bit, and Spanoulis may be huge for them.

I was high on the Rockets last year...and the year before that.

They seem destined to under-achieve.

Lakers will be fighting for that 8th seed since they have, as GiG pointed out, the Kings, Suns, and Clippers in their own division. Not to mention the Spurs, Mavs, rejuvenated (supposedly) Rockets, Memphis, and the division winner from the northwest conference (no matter how shitty their record is)

Nuggets :smokin :lol

If they are healthy, which they wont be coz they will have a starter go down for the season in only the first game. Its bound to happen for the 3rd year in a row.

I think it will actually be the Hornets who suprise people

Lay off the second helpings dough boy. The hotdog pack on the back of your neck is affecting your brain's ability to function properly.

Odom- wrong system. dude can't play within the triangle.
Radmon- as good as he will ever be.
Bynum- future allstar, just not in Kobe's prime
Kobe- Phil loves Kobe, Kobe loves Colorado
PG- ????
Others together more- exactly.

I don't think it will be the Lakers, although they may be better, but a Finals with Kobe against Flash might be interesting!!

I think it will be the Hornets or Memphis that surprise. Memphis is due for some game winning in the play-offs. Too long without!

If the Rockets had kept Rudy Gay....i would of gone for them but now they're just another team in the West....T'Wolves will do it for me

I'd say the Hornets too.

Hornets for sure. Chris Paul and David west are two of the best young players in the league. They will have a nice, high scoring team that cannot defend anything. I think that they will definately make the playoffs....

The Grizzlies are in the process of making a pretty sick team, but I think that they will need a year of two to develop Gay and swift before being too much of a threat.

jazz sleeper to make playoffs, but they will fall like the memphis grizz in every playoffs, first round exit

The Spurs. The Mavs or Phoenix will get some love as the playoffs approach, but the sleeping giant Spurs will awaken in time to take their fourth title.
