man,i was hoping we would get a finals rematch or something like that...besides what is the point of his dilema, shaq and kobe are way past their fewd...maybe a spurs heat matchup would be better and much more even...we all know that shaq is always the one making his team better, unlike some other guy...

I'll go out on a limb and say that San Antonio-Dallas might be the other Christmas game on the schedule.

After the lousy effort they put out last year on Christmas, I would hope not. Pencil in a Mavs win.

How about Chicago - Detroit? That is going to be a BLAST to watch this year. I'd love to see Ben get owned by his ex-teammates.

Is it a for sure that 2 games will be played on Christmas this season? Isn't the NFL playing on Christmas this season. That might change some minds in the NBA office. And I think the Cowboys are one of those teams. Mavs and Spurs might both be at home on Christmas if the NBA is smart.

Schedules should come out the end of the week- I believe.

There are two NFL games on Christmas with the first starting at 5 EST. I'm sure the NBA will schedule a doubleheader with the first game starting at 12:30 EST (Cleve/Det?) with the Laker/ Heat game being at 3 EST.

This same situation occurred last Christmas, IIRC.

Yep. I believe Thursday, to be exact.

Damn right! The Cowboys are gonna kick the Eagles ass! That will be a personal Christmas gift from TO to Donovan.

I would think a Cleveland vs Miami game would be more popular now, with the whole Lebron vs D Wade thing.

I'd just as soon SA gets to stay home so the players can spend Christmas with their families.

Heat/Lakers is a waste. especially if its in Miami, cause kobe never played for the Heat.

Cleveland/detroit to start it off.

Dallas/SA to cap off the second double header. that would be perfect

I can start taking bets on whether Kobe and Shaq hug, ignore, or kiss each other!!!!!!

The Spurs aren't playing on Christmas Day this year. They play on New Year's Eve again, but they're at home this time.

Yep. I believe Thursday, to be exact.

YAY!!! I didn't think they were out this early but then again, I actually woke up this morning wondering when they would be out so I guess my subconscious remembered.

I heard Tuesday, but there are some rough draft schedules floating around.

IIRC, the NBA usually releases the regular season schedule the last Thursday of July. Or, at least they have in the past. It makes sense seeing that word of the Heat/Lakers game on Christmas was leaked.

That said, don't hold me to it. I have a tendency to look bad at times. Like, suggesting something that was already done. :oops

I'm pretty sure it's going to be released on Tuesday, August 1. NBATV is doing a 1-hour special that evening.
