Popi!!!!! 2-0

pooh
10-20-2004, 07:42 PM
Bad base running on Damon, it could've been 3-0 but, 2-0 is better than none.

Jimcs50
10-20-2004, 07:45 PM
WTF did the 3rd base coach wave Damon home? We could have had 3 runs.

Jimcs50
10-20-2004, 07:46 PM
Pooh, he was waved home, it was not his fault. Damon had to hesitate because of the ball hit towards Jeter.

Jimcs50
10-20-2004, 07:53 PM
Lowe looks great so far. 3 up 3 down for the bad guys. :)

pooh
10-20-2004, 08:08 PM
bases loaded

Jimcs50
10-20-2004, 08:09 PM
Brown is knocked out in the 2nd. Bases juiced, 1 out and Damon is up. Damon can make up for a whole lot of bad in the ALCS with a hit to left field.

pooh

10-20-2004, 09:01 PM
BTW, did you guys hear XM signed MLB for every game being broadcast starting next season?

I think that just solidified my Christmas gift.

pooh
10-20-2004, 09:02 PM
Yeah I saw that when I was checking out the ratings for the radio stations here in town. Cool huh?

Johnny_Blaze_47
10-20-2004, 09:09 PM

Yonivore
10-20-2004, 09:09 PM
Dang it! I wanted it to go to 12-1.

pooh
10-20-2004, 09:12 PM
They were saying that Leyritz played for the Sox in '98, that's not true...he played for the Padres cause he faced the Yankees in the WS that year.

Yonivore

Because the Sox were beginning to realize the "Curse" wasn't enough...they're going to have to really fuck up to lose.

So, in he goes.

Last year when Boston came from being down 0-2 to timvp's A's to win was amazing IMO, but that pales in comparison to this historic comeback. I can not believe this.

I know it aint over yet, but the way the Red Sox jumped out on top of the Yankees, It kinda reminded of Game 6 of the Laker series in 2003. Got the monkey off the back, and exercised the playoff demons of the past.

They always play it, Pooh.

Gist of my conversation with Ruby right now...

She picks up. Immediately hears "NY, NY" from my computer. Then I slyly say "Hello". She begins to say this "fucking sucks", get them off the field, says this isn't happening, then says she's going for the Astros now.

pooh
10-20-2004, 11:08 PM
Still it's kind of tacky on their part...but oh well, they're out now. I'm sure your friend is bummed out right now.

Johnny_Blaze_47
10-20-2004, 11:11 PM
