Shark Week kicks ass BTW.

I wanna get bitten by a shark. Obviously not a great white, but some other smaller type.

Any shark that can launch itself into the air and land in a boat, pick a human off of it and eat it, and go back into the water and continue life is a machine.

Makos are the fastest sons of bitches ... you don't want to be in the water with one around.

I've heard about that story before Alvarez - was nuts. I also want to be bit by a shark - in a more protected sense ... they allow you in the Carribean (sp) to put on one of the chain link suits and let a little blue shark bite on you while you feed/pet it. Supposedly pretty cool

^Why???? It's one thing to be into learning about Sharks and watching it on the Discovery channel or whatever, but it's a completely different thing to actually be wanting to get bit by one. I could understand if you said you wanted to maybe see a LIVE one, but that's just plain weird...

I'd never want to come across either, I'd rather encounter a shark than either of those beasts...once they grab you, your life is over.

Well I'm not the only one in here that wants to; scroll up.

I don't want a shark to bite me in the ocean when I'm swimming and not expecting it because I would shit myself.

I just want to go to an aquarium (Camden? :lol) and stick my arm out so a small shark can bite it.

Ok, well that makes more sense than you saying you want to get bit my any ol shark in the ocean or somewhere. Although it's still semi-weird. For what reason would you want to get bitten by any kind of shark? You wanna have a cool story you can tell your friends about or something? Although I don't know how "cool" it would be to tell people you got bitten by an itty-bitty baby shark at the state aqarium :lol

Melmart1

Cherry Hill is nice, I have been to many rugby games there... but yeah... like night and day compared to Camden. I get SOOOO lost in that area, and Camden is scary! And after I read about those kids being found dead in the trunk of the car...

The one neat thing I can say is from Camden Harbor where the Aquarium is, you can see the Philly skyline beyond the bridge. It's almost mocking the people who are unfortunate enough to live in Camden :lol

I never said an itty-bitty baby shark, just a smaller shark, to avoid confusion.

Maybe a lemon shark or blue shark rather or maybe something smaller, rather than a tiger or great white shark ripping off my arms.

Melmart1
07-31-2006, 01:34 PM
Well I knew someone that purposely wanted a cigarette burn on her wrist, and let someone put the butt out on her arm... so I guess Alvarez's isn't as weird as that. But the petting sharks in an aqarium are much too docile. I wouldnt be surprised if they put something in the water to almost sedate them.

:lol That's so wrong. And you're right, I fucking hate Jersey...and Cherry Hill is the worst. Whoever heard of having to get into the RIGHT lane to make a u-turn??? They have No Uturn signs in every opening so if you want to get to the other sdie of the divider, you have to drive like 20 miles. And their street signs or so tiny!!! Grrr, so many of my driving pet peeves were revealed during my stay there.

Oh, yeah you can't turn around ANYWHERE... you have to drive for miles to turn around, as if you missed your exit on the highway and have to double back. I think its called a milkjug something like that... TOTAL BULLSHIT.

He was fucking pissed off afterwards and jumped about 8 feet into the air three times in a row. I got in on video but didn't get any pics. We also caught some very nice Dorado.

Blue sharks are only aggressive when provoked, they are actually fairly calm when undisturbed. And yes, they are very graceful!

I held a megalodon shark tooth, it was as big as my hand and incredibly heavy. I can't even fathom it being just his TOOTH. That was one big shark, it's probably a good thing they aren't around anymore.

Anyone who has been to Sea World San Diego (don't know about the other Sea Worlds), the shark jaws at the end of Shark Encounter are from a Megalodon shark.

Anyway, my favorite shark has to be the Shortfin Mako.

This is the week every year where we go thru twelve 6 packs of bear, 3 pounds of wings, and 4 bags of chips.
For Tlong, shark week is like the super bowl.

Of course all that junk ruins his puffy middle aged weekend warrior physique.
Then he wants me to tumble, roll and shake it like a tiger shark at night to fullfill his sick fantasies.
Like me being a sheep isn't kinky enough.

*shiver*

I was hurricane surfing the third break at Freeport...it's over a 1/4 mile offshore...waves were 6-8 feet...It was sunrise and I was laying on my board looking back over my shoulder into the sunrise waiting for the last wave in the set and as it rose up behind me a huge hammerhead was perfectly sillouetted in the wave about 15 feet away...he was almost twice as long as my 10' board. I have done a lot of crazy/scary shit in my life but that was about as scared as I have ever been...I stayed on my stomach and paddled to catch the wave and rode it right to the beach...my heart/adrenaline was so pumped all I could do was lay on the beach and shake for about ten minutes...
