OK, So I downloaded Elder Scroll IV: Oblvion. Now, I tried everything that I usually do to successfully play a downloaded game. Now, I keep on getting a Windows saying that:

Obliovion ran a fatal error, sorry for any inconvience.

End Program.

So the program shuts down. I installed all the patches and all that good stuff etc.

Now after reading some more on the interent, Oblivion is an AAA game meaning you need a computer with good specs to play it, so now my question how do you check the specs on your Computer? Like your graphic card and sound card etc????? Thanks in advance. lol

Your computer probably won't run it...

Try this:

Click on "Will it run on my PC?"

OOOOOH cool thanks. Now, I've read there are ways to downgrade the visual specs of Oblivion, so you can play it on the game, now I can't make this out, but how bad do I need a new video card? Any help will be much appreciated, thanks!!!!!

Dude you ain't even fucking close, and if you are able to play it somehow, it will run fucking horribly...

Maybe if you got a powerful enough graphics card, but probably not, you'd probably need to do some overclocking..

Maybe you should invest in a used 360..

Damn, I was able to play Doom 3 on Medium settings, but the framerate was choppy and all slow, but if I lowered the settings, it would run semi-smoothly, I guess Oblivion, needs some more firepower, but all I need is a better Graphics Card right? Because this diagram just has an 'X' on graphics card:

But, then this diagram totally says my Computer can't play it:

This game is supposed to be fucking awesome, but I can't burn it on a disc for playability, it's two seperate .DAA files which you use PowerISO to mount on your computer and it installs right there. I will burn data copies for people, if they want it, just 4 dollars and 50 cents a copy.

how about spending some money and getting a new pc/upgrading your current one ... you can makeup the cost by downloading tons of games you can now play! ;)

The game will run like shit, but it looks like your video card is the real problem. You need at least a 256 DDR AGP but a 512 DDR AGP or a 512 DDR EPCI would be optimal. Look on ebay, they run about $100 used.

I ran another test, with another website that inculdes what specs you need to upgrade by how much. I need 500 more megahertz on my proccesor and I need to upgrade my video card so my Cell Shaders are up to 2.0, I have 0.0 and I need 64 more MB of memory. Damn, my NVIDIA GeForce2 MX 400 SUCKS!!!!!!!!! I would save up, but I'm saving up for a car.

You could probably get by with another 256 MB of DDR ram and enough hard-drive space for the computer to cache some video files if you bought a decent video card.
