I say the redskins are the team to beat with cowboys and eagles chasing and giants just a tad behind. Redskins have a more complete team(running game, passing and defense) Cowboys are a little young on defense and their running game lacks a consistent runner and O-line is suspect. Eagles are better off without T Owens(cancer) and will get back to Eagle ball that they had before TO. Giants can be top dog but I am not convinced that Eli has what it takes. What do you guys think? :hat

i really want to lean towards washington, but i have to say Dallas. there first three wins of the year was very odd and doubt they could do it again. (they beat NFC champs, NFC north champs, and a solid Dallas team) Washington is NOT a complete team. they cant pass cause Brunell aint good as he used to be. i think what Washington did last year was very unusual and i doubt that they can repeat it this year.

I think it's up for grabs between Wash, Dallas & NY. I think Phily is a notch below those teams.

It all depends on the QB's if Brunell can play as good as last year they will roll. Philly is gonna surprise people this year, they did it without TO and will do it again if they get a running game.

I think the Cowboys are the team to beat.

The Eagles will be a solid team though, a lot better than last year.

Donovan McNabb is a serious dude right now, he's concentrated on winning. As long as he's healthy and the defense stays out of injuries, the Eagles should have a successful season that leads them to the playoffs.

Dallas is getting all the hype because of TO,TO has been in the league how long? he is not a winner he is a stats monger. Dont get me wrong I think they are strong but I still think they are very young defensively and also Bledsoe is not that good he puts up stats but when it counts he is a interception master :elephant waiting to throw it to the opposition

Washington is getting a lot of pre-season hype, so that probably means they'll finish around 6-10, just like every other time they've gotten pre-season hype in the Synder era.

The skins are solid this year the only weakness I see is Brunell and how he will hold up will he have a dead tired arm like two years ago or will he thrive with the new weapons he has? also scott no reply about TO or anything else I wrote? :hat

Probably no single beast. It's going to be hotly contested.

It depends on injuries. Case in point, the Cowboys were very good last year until the injury bug hit them in some key spots and wins became close losses (except for the Washington game in DC ...Chris Cooley is still wide open in the end zone). Same with Philly getting hit by injuries.

Yeah Injuries are the key.if everyone stays healthy I still think the skins are tops just my opinion

Philly got raped with injuries last year, it seemed like they didn't have a single healthy starter.

Correl Buckhalter and JR Reed are back this year, both are doing well. JR Reed is a freak, but I wonder if he'll still be at the same speed as he was in the 04-05 season. That dude is so damn fast.

G-men will kill teams with their D.
Redskins will be very solid.
Cowboys will be average because there is no O-line to block for the statue that is Bledsoe.
Eagles just plain suck.

people better watch out for the eagles. mcnabb loooks great in camps and seems even more focused on winning than usual. the team is healthy, and has some nice talents on both sides of the ball. i think too many injuries, and T.O. killed last years team, but this year, they could be right back in the Super Bowl. people better not take them lightly.

With the Cowboys' recent history, the addition of Vanderjagt should be good for at least two or three wins. The only thing keeping the Cowboys from walking into a first round bye is the complete lack of a competent backup QB.

no offense but Bledsoe has missed only 3 games in 11 years so what are you talking about?

we need an O-line, we need a kicker and we got it.

most importantly however, is that we need turnovers. you create turnovers by great pass rush which we never seem to get leading to big plays. thats why Tampa Bay is so good every year. right now Parcells is buying into the 3-4 defense which tricks the opposing QB like the Steelers do. we have a good secondary, but the QB just has so much time to throw. thats why everyone thinks we suck.

yea, he will be a nice extra addition. a lot of people keep saying the eagles window has closed, but they really are not that old. they have a lot of young talent too.

Why do Texans downplay the strength of a rival? So humble in the MLB cause your team has always blown ass.

Anyways.

The Skins are the team to beat. That's obvious and that's what most experts are seeing.

What experts? The people on TV and in papers? They don't know a damn thing about what will happen. I like Washington on paper, but you can't dismiss the Snyder effect and the fact that they have a mummy for a QB. Brunell will not turn in 2 straight solid seasons in a row at this stage of his career. The backup better get ready.

Seattle isnt even in the NFC east, and i think it will be Dallas and Washington battling back and forth for the top spot all year long, but i think dallas will and up on top.

If the Cowboys can make their field goals we will own this division. Julius Jones and Marion Barber need to do exactly what they did last year without the injuries.

No offense but that means exactly dick. If he gets hurt the Cowboys are extremely lucky to win half their games.

By the way, the 11 years you mention above aren't in a row. If you are going to skip the season that he missed 14 games and allowed Tom Brady to take his starting spot and win the Super Bowl then you are sort of missing my point altogether.
