I was just reading the obituaries from my hometown online and ran across this name... Maybelle Cornstubble. She was 89, and married Dewey Cornstubble in 1933. How would you like to be saddled with that name for 73 years? Poor thing' went from being born with the normal last name of Taylor to Cornstubble!! :lol

I have always felt I need to marry a guy with a good last name.

I remember in junior high I knew a kid with the last name Putts. I knew he was out.
Can you imagine... Veronica Putts. My name would have been like a mini sentence. :oops

My friend went to a wedding once where one of the bridesmaid's names was Deadroache (pronouced dee-ahd-roe-shay). I thought that was pretty cruel.

I played for a football coach who's name was Richard Small. A terrible, terrible name for a bad and somewhat abusive coach to have when he's dealing with a group of 14 and 15-year-old boys. Really, really terrible.

Harold Bahls... people called him Harry. Tiajuana Hooker was the name of an airline passenger when I was in the airlines ticketing industry. Tiajuana was where she was conceived, so that's what her parents named her. Way to tell your kid that you got drunk and forgot to use a condom in Mexico one night...

Then there are the women who see a name written somewhere and don't know what it means but thinks it would be a pretty name for a child:

Gonorrhea Jones.

(Yes, someone tried to give a baby that name but was fortunately talked out of it.)
