Hell yeah!
I saw the trailer before the DaVinci Code flick & I'm not ashamed to admit my eyes did get a little misty.

To see what it might have been like for the heroes who put their asses on the line and died?

Just a thought.

good point. but wouldnt movies like saving private ryan define that thought a little better? no disrespect to the FDNY or NYPD...

Funny you should mention "Pravite Ryan", because that's one of the movies that came to mind when I saw the WTC previews. But one is pure fiction (except for the Normandy beach invasion), and the other is based on something that really happened. Big Difference.

I want to go see it. I work babysitting most of the day until later night through Friday.
I don't really want to go see it this Saturday- it doesn't look like a birthday movie.

I hope to see it early next week. :)

I'll download it and then bootleg it. That's the American thing to do.

the previews alone make my eyes water. I think it's too soon to put out that movie... I won't watch it anytime soon.

Is the movie based on how the crash took place or what people did after the crash?

From my understanding, It's the story of 2 Port Authority Officers who were pulled from the rubble at ground zero after responding to the emergency.

No shit!
With a bunch of dumbasses facing south I saw a scroll on tv today that some Egyptian students were being sought after by authorities & they were in the FREAKIN' NORTH. Was it that they came into JFK?.......I'm not 100% on that.
Hmmm, where did the 9/11 terrorists come into the country from?

I saw the 20/20 or Primetime special on this movie (and the two guys it's based on) the other week and cried so much. I def. want to see this movie. I don't know if I'll see it this weekend but for sure within the next few weeks.

I still haven't quite wrapped my brain around that day yet, so it's a bit too soon for me. I'll probably see it on DVD at some point.

I just saw it here in LA, it was great. Seriously, I'd recommend it for all of humanity. It is brilliant how a slight ray of hope is found amid such a devastated atmosphere and on such a horrific day.
