Just a thought, but my guess is YES

Spurs fans are so classless that I bet they will boo Mohammed for leaving your precious team...

Are you going to Boo?

Mohammed who?

08-11-2006, 01:24 PM
Yes but it's not because he left it was because he said that ever since he got here he was confused. And he said he wanted money but the Pistons offer was the same as ours. Nobody talks that way to our team without paying for it! My call: Spurs sweep Pistons: 1st game 101-74 2nd game 108-80.

classless fans are sonics fans, when Tim went down they started cheering, when he got back up to continue playing the game they started to boo him. that is classless.

He's gonna be dropping the balls out of bounce, everytime he catches it.
If anything, people will cheer for his stupid ass. :lol

Can't fault the guy for going for the biggest contract.

Didn't like his comments on his way out, but whatever.

I save my energy for the Mavericks.

That was the lowest-classiest move by fans I have ever seen. Even past the Brawl.

I don't think anyone will boo Nazr. Former Spurs don't really get booed here.

My favorite team is the Spurs. I cheer for Spurs players. Why should I cheer for the opposition? I liked Nazr when he was here and I hated to see him leave but he is no longer a Spur and therefore, to me, is irrelevant.

Some people will definitely boo- especially because Nazr chose the Pistons. I even expect some boos for Rasho and he got traded.

No. Why? He left for more money. Did we boo Devin? Speedy? Ferry? Bateer? SJax? No. You plan on booing Marks? While I certainly won't cheer for him, to boo him would imply he did us wrong, and he didn't. I don't think he was ever in RC/Pop's plan for this year, therefore to boo him would be a little grade school.

You boo when there is bad blod, for instance Hill (even tho he admitedly got dorked by the Spurs)

If either Elson or Butler work out, I don't think people will really care. Nazr was not that significant of a contributor last season. But if they both turn out to be complete busts I'm sure people will look to blame someone and Nazr will get booed.

:rolleyes :rolleyes another thread talking shit about us from a Rockets fan. Why dont you worry about your own damn team and see if Tmac can do anything to avoid retiring in 2-3 years with those back issues. It seems like he is turning into the next Grant Hill/Penny Hardaway. Also why dont you worry about your team getting a power foward outside of that crap called Juan Howard!!

At least they had surgery which slowed them down! TMac and Yao are as brittle as uncooked pasta!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm sure Dawson wishes for a time machine so he could go back and draft Amare and not give TMac that extension. I won't boo Nazr, hell I cheered when he left. The only bitterness I had is that we didn't do a sign and trade to Chicago for one of their SF. The only way I wanted him to stay is if Pop made him put glue on his hands. He got so damned excited when he got the ball in the post and would think he was Hakeem or some shit and never pass it back out! :madrun

But then again, no worries. My cheers will drown the haters out. :D

As for Mr. Butterfingers...
I would have no problem booing Nezr in the play offs since that is a truly competitive time. It isn't like I was ever attached to him anyway.

However, since Nazr was a Spur, I won't boo him during regular season introductions. That seems unecessarily hostile.

I maintain no bias whatsoever once they leave the Spurs. Hell, if Manu left us for the Mavericks after sticking his middle finger at the San Antonio fan base, I'd still boo him the same as I do every other maverick, and every other opponent for that matter: aggressively, inappropriately, and excessively.

Nazr played an important role in winning the title so in that respect I wish him the best. I have a feeling however that Nazr will at some point open his mouth and add some fuel to the fire that he has already started.

Why would we boo Nazr???

1) He helped this team win a Championship
2) Its a business
3) Going to the Pistons was the right move for him (more PT & money)

You cant hate a guy a good career/financial move.
