Actually the article says they are the top 10 stolen luxury vehicles.
It could be, but the title doesn't say that, and neither does the title of the list when you scroll down

This ForbesAutos.com Top 10 list of the most commonly stolen luxury vehicles in the U.S. was compiled based on figures released by the HLDI in fall 2005.

So which luxury cars and trucks out there are most at risk, and what can you do to make your vehicle less desirable to thieves?

Although a significant number of luxury vehicles are stolen each year, it's important to note that these pricey cars and trucks do not have a higher theft rate than those selling at lower price points.

"Luxury cars do not have more frequent theft claims than their cheaper counterparts.."

Alright, fine Kori is right, but the article is inconsiderate of those who don't want to read all the text and just want to read the title and top 10 list.

ShoogarBear

You're right. The article never specifies anything about luxury vehicles.

I do agree the title of the table is misleading. That's bad editing.

Yeah it's definitely misleading. That's why I asked the question in my first post of this thread -- I had just read the title and the list. I knew something was wrong because I knew Acuras were very popular for stealing.
