Are you living in San Marcos or Austin now? I was just assuming you were in SA (where it's on the WB).

Eat 'em Cats then. I'll probably be at a few games this year - hopefully we can repeat the playoff run.

Yeah, I will be goin to some of them. I live not too far from the statium so easy drive for me. Hopefully they will be as good or close to they were last year.

Romo: 12/15 154 yards 1 TD, 3 rush 14 yards 0 times sacked.

When is he eligible for the HOF? :smokin

Romo sucks, Dallas needs a real QB with experience backing up Drew (i get sacked ALOT) Bledsoe.

Here's the big deal in this game - The Cowboys O Line is playing a great game. Romo is having a field day because the line is giving him time to pick apart the defense. Preseason or not, this is the defending NFC champs playing at home, and the Cowboys are solid on both sides of the ball. Good showing through 3

This was a pre-season game. It meant nothing.

This was a pre-season game. It meant nothing.
The O Line was Strong against the Seahawks #1 and #2 Defense. Considering that is a defense that went to the Superbowl last year - that means something.
Gregg Ellis showed he may be able to successfully convert to the OLB spot in the 3-4 against the Seahawks #1 and #2 offense. Considering that is an offense that went to the Superbowl last year - that means something.

Pat Watkins and Sam Hurd showed promise. Hurd against the #1 and #2 defense and Watkins against the #2 offense. That development means something.
Who won the game doesn't matter in the pre-season, but evaluating players and units is very important in the pre-season. That is why there is a pre-season.

Romo sucks.

What are you using to base your opinion on???

Romo has been in the league 4 years and hasn't thrown one pass in a real game, even when the cowboys had a 50 year old QB and a bad record he couldn't manage to find his way onto the field.

Beer is Good, it's the first preseason game of the year, don't get your hopes up just yet. Seattle wasn't playing to win, nobody is in preseason. Case in point, Houston beat KC. Do you think the Cheifs are worried now? no they could give 2 shits about losing the game, it's about evaluating their roster and trying to make decisions like who gets cuts or not.

Romo looks like a legit backup, and the line looks better than I'd hoped. Once they stop jumping they'll be pretty good.

If you notice slinky - I said it doesn't matter who wins the game. Pre season games are played to evaluate young players and establish depth, and that depth is part of the difference between bad teams and good teams. The Cowboys young players played very well, and their backups played well. If you notice I didn't mention Romo because hopefully he won't have to play this year. But Ellis, Watkins, Carpenter, and the O and D Lines are gonna see a lot of action this year and they looked good out of the gate on the road.
