I think the Spurs would have made him an offer this summer if they didn't draft Beno. He's a bit tougher and quicker, and a lot younger at 22. J is a bit of a late project at 28.

Pop said on the Pop show today, when Don Harris asked him about Jasikevicius, that they did try to work out a deal with Sarunas last season to backup Tony. The same day they were trying to do something throught Sarunas' agent, an offer was accepted with Maccabi.
