which burrito place in your opinion is better? personally i like Freebirds better just because you can play with the foil and add foil thing up :spin

P.S. If you go there mine is the OU symbol in the corner near the back patio entrance. :) wonder if they took it down yet since we live in Texas :lol

Haven't tried Freebirds, Chips is pretty good because you can have it built the way you'd like.

fuck the mcdonalds burrito - i.e. chipotle. freebird's is much better, though i don't have one close enough to me anymore since i moved to northwest austin. i would actually say freebirds is the only good thing to ever come from college station.

Freebirds is opening two more in SA. One i kow for sure will be at Alamo Ranch Market.

I had Freebirds once, it was alright.


I like Chipotle. McDonalds only owns the company, it was the invention of someone else and McDonalds is selling Chipotle (thankfully)

The first Freebirds to come to Texas was the first one here in College Station at Northgate.(we have 3 now) The owner came here from Calif to open this one up about 15 yrs ago, and was in town overseeing the opening. He had broken a tooth so came in to my office and I treated him, and he told me about his new place and gave me a couple of free coupons for burritos. He was from LongBeach, where the first one opened near Long Beach St. He said they wanted to start opening Freebirds near universities around the southwest states.

Freebirds has more variety; Chipotle is not inedible, though.

I still miss the veggie burritos from El Sitio in Sanata Barbara. Damn.

...could not have said it better myself!!! why the hell does anybody go to chipotle? freebirds is probably the best burrito i have ever had...and i use to go to a ton of places in california.

I don't see how anyone can say Chipotle > Freebirds.

It's not that close. Freebird's puts some effort into your burrito, Chipotle just slops all the stuff on there and says here you go. And it's more expensive. Weak.
