Anyone go to this place yet? How's business going for it? I haven't been yet because I simply live too damn far. Last night, I was watching that Kumar movie where they go to White Castle and it just made me think of Krystal's. Everytime I drive by (of course this like at 10-11 in the morning) it's always dead looking. Are any of you guys regulars of the place?

Across 410 from Ingram...they are pretty good I guess. I've only gone once...but they were good.

We ordered like 40 of them burgers..I didn't think they would all be done but they were.

They are usually done with in like two bites anyway.

It's the White Castle of the South guys ... about as close as we'll get unless you want to take a road trip to the north.

They do have regular size burgers, to answer someone's question.

Their burgers kinda suck really. Good breakfast menu though.

Anyone looking for a tasty burger should head over to Culvers on De Zevala.

Krystals is actually not good at all. I tried it at some airport and I hate it when I consume calories and they taste like crap.

I want my money's worth if I am going to eat something that is fattening.

Youve got to be kidding me.

You judge something by eating it at a freakin airport?

Go to the resteraunt and give it a fair shake, come on chief.

Anyone been to In-n-Out burger? For those of you who have and really like it, go to Freddy's at the Forum - I-35 and 1604. Order the California combo. Tastes pretty damn close to In-n-Out. Even the fries are a close match. Good stuff.

Perhaps there was a Krystal's restaurant at the airport? Either way, it's his opinion. If he didn't like the burger, who gives a shit.

They just renovated the In-n-Out in Hollywood. That fucker is so busy, it's a pain in the ass to make an order. The lines are like Disneyland. It's probably so busy because of the tourists and the fact that they built it near Hollywood High.

Does anyone know the mascot for Hollywood high? It's the Sheiks. Never knew that before.

I also miss Little Hipp's. That was my favorite burger in SA.

I remeber Rally's from my days in Vegas. Been about 15 years though. It was a good burger, and it was also cheap. You could get the cheeseburger/fries/drink meal for $1.98 :wow

That is the reason why it was so popular my freshman/sophmore years in high school. Their seasoned fries were pretty darn good. :) Not good enough to stay open though. :lol

Freddie's is pretty damn good. Highly recommend it. Have you guys been to the Fatburger? That's also pretty damn good. On a local note, have yall noticed that Whataburger has gone to shit kinda? Their fries seem to suck ass now. They are always soggy tasting and not crisp and fresh like they use to taste back in the day. Then again, maybe it's just the ones that are around me. And also kinda off topic, what the hell's been up with Taco Cabana's shit? The tortillas are like midget sized a lot of times and the fajita meat hasn't been fresh tasting. Boy does Taco Tote and Chacho's put them to shame!

IIRC, they never paid their sales taxes ... speaking as an accountant, that's a no-no. :nope :lol

We lived there in high school...there was one right across the street from Roosevelt. :drunk

whataburger is still top notch here in austin, except for the super ghetto location on MLK and airport where they served my sister a potato taquito with french fries in it...
