France will likely be without one of its stars in its World Championship opener.
According to a report on FIBA's Web site, Tony Parker is doubtful for France's game against Olympic champion Argentina on Saturday. An X-ray taken after the San Antonio Spurs point guard was injured in a game Tuesday against Brazil revealed a broken bone in the third finger of his right hand.
Laurent Foirest, who injured an ankle in the same game, is also doubtful against Argentina
