The Aggies were turnoverless today. That means in 7 games, they have 1 fumble and 0 Ints. That has to be a record for fewest TOs in 7 games in college history. Last year they had 8 in one game alone against Nebraska. Does anyone know if this is s record?

Jim...are you suggesting a dynasty in your own mind? Good grief! WTFC? The "Aggies" are not my choice to pound my meat over. Some thoughts should be kept in one's own mind. Don't shoot Jim!!!! I'm just kidding. :lol

Where do I mention dynasty??? I am asking a historical question. Read it again. Do you not realize that they have 1 TO in 7 games?? Is that not a significant stat in college athletics??? Damn, you UT fans are paranoid. :)

No...we're not paranoid Jim. Its just that it's not high on the important scale with us. I understand you being proud of your team. I'm proud of mine too. I just don't post threads like this because of the reprocussions I know it will bring. I may be wrong but I don't think the Longhorns had any turnovers last night either. Lighten up...I still love you. I'm just jerking on your chain. :lol

Jim,

I did some research this week on ncaa.org. The record for fewest turnovers in a season is 8. Fewest fumbles is 2. They do INTs by % of throws, the record for fewest is something like 3 out of 339 passes.

AggieHF, the 8 looks like a record that can be beaten. I will say this, if A&M does not have any TOs in the next 4 games, they will win the Big 12, because they will be a charmed team, indeed.

Hookdem, I feel like I am charmed lately. I might bet the farm on the Aggies winning the Big 12 championship and getting into a Coalition Bowl game because of it too. :)

Unlike Texas - Texas A&M controls its own destiny as far as the Big 12 Championship goes.

You can laugh all you want, at least our starting QB has a win over OU under his belt.

When's the last time you could say that? Major Applewhite? Simms laid an egg, doesn't look like Vince will ever beat OU either, at least not unless they move him out to WR and give someone else a chance.

Don't get bent out of shape AHF . It's just not likely that A&M or Texas will win the Big 12. When A&M plays Oklahoma, I will be pulling for them.

Why wouldn't I Jim? Oklahoma is the enemy! And before you ask me if I have forgotten our bet....no I haven't. I would gladly lose. Unlike some sports fans, I do not hate the Aggies. It's just that the Longhorns are my team and I will always pull for them when playing the Aggies. The success of the Aggies will not make the Longhorns better or worse except in head to head competition. If only everyone would look at it like that! Whats to be gained by saying "my dog's better than yours"? The record will speak for itself. :lol

Aggies pulled a boner in Waco with turnovers that led to 21 pts for Baylor. Also they will have to learn to win the coin toss in OT as they lose the toss,(again) get a TD on their first possession, but Baylor has nothing to lose so they go fro 2 instead of going to 2nd OT and win on the 2 point conversion.

Im with you two. I also, will be rooting for A&M against OU. To me, a Texas team regardless of who it is has my support against a non-Texas team. Home state loyalty dictates such.

Well we still control our own destiny if we win out, that's just hard to fathom after last night.

Thats funny Jim, considering the subject of this thread. :lol
