What if these games were played with NBA rules? how much of a difference would it play in the the outcome of these games? would the U.S dominate the other countries if we played with NBA rules?

Rules are almost the same, its the referees who make the difference. You can get away with much more in US for the sake of the entertainment and there is plenty of star treatment.

Rules don't change by country. There are FIBA rules and NBA rules. There is enough of a difference that some international players have a hard time adjusting to the NBA and vice versa, especially during international competition, i.e. "FIBA sucks..." - Timmy

Yes, USA will be better, the best and dominant... but .. .guess what ....

IntlīTeam will learn and in 12 years the advantage will be erased

There's not really any appreciable difference between the NBA and the FIBA officiating that I've seen, and I've watched every USA game and three or four others. The joke is when people imply or say that the officiating here resembles the whistlefest in Athens. The USA team is getting more calls in this tournament than their opponents, and I've seen one illegal screen called.
