View Full Version : Some Real Twilight Zone Bullshit

Today, as I was walking out of the aisle that I was sitting in in my American Lit class, I had my phone and my spiral in my hands and I was trying to put them in my bag. I dropped my phone and I felt it bounce off my shoe. So then I got on the floor and started looking on it. The fucking phone vanished. It went through a wormhole or went back to the future or some shit because that sucker was gone. Wasn't under any seat in my row or the row in front of it. I talked to the guy in charge of the auditorium and he said no one turned it in. Girl at the help desk on the main floor of the building wasn't much help despite the namesake of the desk she works at.

And to make matters worse I had my phone silenced during class so I can't call it. The only possible explanation is that maybe someone picked it up...but I find it hard to believe someone would pick it up and not notice the big tall guy a few feet behind them frantically looking for his phone. Plus I hope they enjoy the two hours of free service they're getting because I'm going to the Sprint store in an hour after I get back from campus and having them kill my service and replace my phone.

But if it wasn't stolen, how does a phone just disappear? Immediately after I felt it hit my foot, I got down and started looking, and I was looking a good 20 minutes and probably disturbing a lot of people coming in for the next class. It's some real Twilight Zone bullshit.

Funny you mentioned this. A cell phone just fell out of the sky and hit me in the head.

I don't think it would have bounced four feet into the air and into my bag. I left no stone unturned, including my bag. It's gone.

You were in a fifth dimension, beyond that which is known to man. It is a dimension as vast as space and as timeless as infinity. It is the middle ground between light and shadow, between science and superstition.

That sux to lose your phone like that! I've had some weird twilight zone stuff happening with my car lately.. When I go to places, I'll leave it unlocked and when I come back it's locked. Even just at home I'll leave it unlocked and about 3 times now I've gone back and my car has locked itself. It's not equipped to lock itself either. It's weird.

Quantum physics theory says that everything has a measurable, real possibility of happening, however slight.

You could be walking across the street, every atom in your body could dissassemble, then reassemble perfectly on mars and do the same thing back again on the other side of the street.

Your phone is on mars.

Or maybe this guy is diversifying from culinary theft:

Or the Mavs could win the NBA Championship.

When I first got my new car I would come outside to the parking lot after leaving a store and find all my windows rolled down and the doors unlocked. Knowing that I had locked it before I left, I was freaking out. This happened several times before I finally figured out that because I carry my key-chain in my right front pocket, if the button were facing my hip bones they would get pushed. When you held the unlock button in for a few seconds it unlocks and rolls down your windows so the car can cool off for you. Now I make sure to turn the buttons face out.:lol

dude, same thing happened to me a few days ago, i sat down on a couch in the psych lounge area to study for a test and I felt the phone slip out of my pocket and hit the back of my shoe.. I looked EVERYWHERE, under the couch, under and in my bag, everywhere. There was a closed door about 5 feet away from me with a gap at the bottom that I would never think my phone could fit through ( let alone fly through the air about a yard and land as quietly as a feather)... well, i had someone grab a key and unlock that door for me, opened it up and there it was.

I don't know, whoever found it called one of my friends numbers in my call list and gave it to them, and then my friend gave it back to me.

I guess there are some honest people still out there.
