Good news for the folks that drafted McNabb and Stallworth. Possible bad news for me because I have Reggie Brown in one of my leagues. Pinkston could be the odd man out.

That was a good pickup for the Eagles. Im glad they got him.

Great pickup for those who have Horn. Should solidify his status as the go-to receiver.

I heard about this rumor weeks ago, as well as the "Eagles trying to aquire Ashley Lelie" rumor. Nice pickup. If he can manage 70 for 945 with the Aints, he can surely manage something similar in Philly. McNabb is much better than any QB who ever threw to him.

So... what the hell are the Saints doing at their #2 WR position?

:tu I like this since McNabb is my QB for my fantasy league.

If Pinkston makes a comeback, they have three decent wideouts. That opens up the playbook for Reid. He can run singleback and three wide receiver sets with confidence. Instead of passing 60% of the time, he might throw it 70% since Bryan Westbrook has never been a great downhill runner. Buckhalter is nice but he has suffered some catastrophic injuries the last couple of years.

Not so fast. Pinkston was cut along with former "holding" pro-bowler Koy Detmer today. Pinkston wouldn't have been the slot guy anyway. Stallworth was brought in to replace Pinkston, and they have plenty of guys who can be a third receiver.

Devery Henderson and Marques Colston are battling for the #2 WR.

I saw this guy play at a couple of training camp practices. He has freak-like potential, and he's the proverbial coach's son to boot.

He's fast, for his size, get's good separation, and he excels at knocking rookie DBs on their ass coming off the line.

Jamal Jones is worth keeping an eye on too. Built a lot like Stallworth. Super quick.

I never said Pinkston would be the slot receiver, though on occasion, he could lineup there. Brown is 6'1, 197. He could have lined up in the slot.

But all of it is academic because Pinkston won't be making a comeback in Philly.

:lol Isnt Pinkston the pussy who is afraid of being hit? Either way the Eagles will be the Cowboys bitch this season again.

Pinkston would run deep patterns. He's too light in the butt to run a five yard in or crossing pattern.

Pinkston is no longer an Eagle.

He was released.
