I don't think 10 year olds should be allowed to post. Manu is the worst poster ever.

ESPN2, after the USA-Germany game, mentioned that the Argentina-Spain game would be at 3:30 EST and the USA-Greece game would be at 6:30 EST.

Perhaps, FIBA changed it since the Spain-Argentina match-up is considered the main event of the two, hence the switch in starting times as mentioned on NBA.COM.

I'd like a more definite answer on this since I might have to tape the US game tomorrow. I'd hate to discover I taped the wrong one instead.

Besides, wouldn't it be more convenient for US fans to see the game later than at 2:30 in the morning (my time)?

According to FIBA.com, USA is the earlier game.
However, USAbasketball.com still has USA as the 6:30am ET game.

nevermind, I found it on my guide. It has the US playing the early game and Spain the later game.

Record both games. You'll probably be glad you did, if for no other reason than the basketball being played.

I don't know how it works there in San Antonio, but here in Buenos Aires it's USA-Greece at 4:30, then Argentina-Spain at 7:30. Originally it was the other way around, but they switched it.

Yes.

It's 2:30 for USA and 5:30 for Argentina here.

On this TV availability schedule it shows the opposite.

http://www.mediazone.com/channel/fiba/jsp/fiba_schedule.pdf

07:30 GMT for ARG/ESP(75) and 10:30 GMT for USA/GRE(76).

On the FIBA site it says times subject to change so who knows.
I'll bet the US plays the 6:30 EST game. It has pretty much been their schedule the whole tournament.

Thanks.

I just noticed they changed the game numbers. :huh

I have them both set to record anyway. Now I am tempted to stay up for the US game at 12:30 MST.
