After that if it was between a Republican and a Demoncrat, I voted Republican.

Between a Republican and a Libertarian, I voted Libertarian.

Republican by him- or herself, I didn't vote.

There were no Demoncrats running unopposed.
There were no Libertarians running unopposed.
There were no Demoncrat vs. Libertarian races.

Voted last week. Picked up some Dos Equis and limes at the early voting place and phoned in an order for pizza from the shop next door while I waited in line. The process went smoothly. Again I'd like to thank Howard Dean's organization for registering me to vote last month.

I had thought about voting again for the Libertarian candidate as I did in the 2000 election but after thinking about how the current president had generated mass hysteria among the liberal left in this country I couldn't turn down such an opportunity to vote for him. Plus, neither candidate is likely to do anything about the ever increasing intrusion of the federal government in our lives, but at least Bush isn't committed to dithering about the threat of Islamofascist terrorism and ever so willing to submit American national security decisions to a host of corrupt foreign governments. Instead he will continue to let the neocons, Illuminati, Bilderbergers, Federal Reserve, CIA, Big Bird, major petroleum E&P companies, investment banks, 'Religious Reich', arms merchants, 'international bankers' and Dick Cheney run this country and I look forward to that.

To me, that's one of the most important issues and it's the reason why I can't vote for Bush.

A vote for a third party candidate isn't going to help elect anyone but Bush or Kerry in this election, but it isn't a wasted vote. If more and more people vote for third party candidates, we can begin to erode the two-party system.
