Blind Item of the day
An Eastern Conference NBA general manager tells me the Blazers are NOT actively shopping Zach Randolph right now. Whisper is the the Nuggets, who love Z-Bo and have flirted with a deal, would do a Kenyon Martin for Randolph today if Portland wanted to get it done.

Martin is down to make $11.8 million next season, and in subsequent seasons... $13m, $14.2m, $15.4m, and a $16.5m player option in 2010-11. Randolph's salaries go $12m next season, then $13.3m, $14.7m, $16m and $17.3m in 2010-11. This matches under the Collective Bargaining Agreement, so really it comes down to whether or not the Blazers think they can do better.

Personally, I wouldn't do this deal. Not just yet. I think the Blazers could do a little better with some active shopping.

If you say so. I'm not gonna get into an argument with you about grammar or certain basketball terms because you win all arguments thrown at you.

It's the first sentence in the article. Denver's interest is, well, interesting anyway. I'd have gone with that in the title.

heck no, not for Randolph. Sure Randolph can score down low but he is more of a headcase than K. K does some stupid things but at least he brings it 100% when on court where as Randolph doesnt care at all.

Id rather stick with K and hope he shapes up his attitude and gets healthy. he fits in better with the Nuggs than Randolph would.

Reports by GK out of practice currently at the pepsi center say that K is looking good health wise, he has a bounce back in his step and is easily the best player there. Now that could just be PR but still it sounds a little promising and i wouldnt want the Nuggs to throw K away for another big man with locker room issues

Karl isn't going to say KMart looks like shit if he wants to trade him.

:lol i know but he didnt have to mention K at all. K will be great if he is healthy, thats all there is to it.

Both K and Gk just need to 4get their pride and just get along. Easier said than done of course but it could happen. I'd at least like to see K play some more games as a Nugget to raise his trade value.

Horry For 3!

The Blazers would be idiots to trade Randolph for Martin.
