I thought it would be close..... I guess I was wrong unless California makes a big comeback.

Lynch is not doin very well, that is surprising.

I even had Tennessee @ -2 before the line shifted this week... this does not come as a surprise to me at all.

That was a helluva run...

Goodbye top 25 for Cal?

How far can the Vols rise? I say they come in at 16 next week.

I said before the season that Cal would beat USC....I am thinking I might be wrong. That was horrible.

If you're going to lose, lose weak one on the road to a team that will probably finish in the top-20.

Sucks for Cal, but honestly, there aren't but maybe a handful of teams that will even challenge to go undefeated, let alone are likely to, so one loss shouldn't, as of yet, take them out of any BCS picture.

It was a bad, bad loss, but it showed they need to run the ball more and shore up that pass coverage. If they can, they have the talent to make a run from here on out.

re: undefeated teams... one of my pre-season predictions is that the National Title game will NOT feature two undefeated teams. I think WVU has the best chance at running the table, but that doesn't necessarily make them a top 2 team.

Re: WVU

IF they manage to get to the NC game and IF they beat whoever their foe is, I'm sure there will STILL be people not giving them any credit. Underdogs in the Sugar Bowl last year and defeat Georgia (in Atlanta) and then win the NC this year. Some teams never get any respect, I guess.

Cal's loss was not surprising. They don't have a QB. Oregon and Oregon State are both better than Cal.

The loss wasn't the surprise. Getting destroyed was.

Not really. If you don't have a decent QB you will get your ass kicked when playing at a good SEC team's stadium.
