Wow! (http://64.91.230.181/~recycler/videos/windbag.WMV)

Follow the link to an unbelievably believable exchange between John O'Neill (Swiftboat Veterans and P.O.W.s for Truth and co-author of "Unfit for Command") and Lawrence O'Donnell (MSNBC's "Senior Politica Analyst") on a show moderated by Pat Buchanan.

It has to be seen to be believed...the left, in this case with O'Donnell playing lacky for Kerry, have really gotten desperate. It's comical.

Yeah, NBC is a Right-wing organization alright...

O'Donnell lost it. If someone like him is breaking down it does make you wonder how the left will respond to the reelection of GWB.

Sounds like damn near every liberal who posts on this board. Absolutely no difference.

Kerry's campaign is becoming desperate.

Everyday brings a new charge against the President and every charge is pulled right from the headlines of the New York Times. If you want to know how John Kerry will attack the President in the afternoon, just read the Times in the morning.

John Kerry will say anything he believes will help him politically, and today he is grasping at headlines to obscure his record of weakness and indecision in the War on Terror. These are the tactics of a candidate who has no message for the future and no positive record to run on.

The entire country of Iraq was a weapons stockpile. So far, 243,000 tons of weapons and explosives have been secured and destroyed. In addition, 163,000 tons of weapons and explosives have been secured and are awaiting destruction. All the Monday morning-quarterbacking and armchair-generaling in the world by John Kerry won't make up for the fact that he does not have a vision, a strategy or a plan to fight and win the War on Terror.

Saddam Hussein's government stored weapons in mosques, schools, hospitals and countless other locations throughout Iraq. Yet, John Kerry showed today that he still cannot decide whether Saddam Hussein was a threat or not. He claims the weapons our troops have secured and destroyed were not a threat, but any other weapons were.

You should prepare for more baseless attacks torn from the headlines in the coming days by John Kerry. You should also expect more desperate flailing by his campaign as more polls show President Bush on his way to re-election.

John Kerry is attempting to distract voters from the clear choice they face between President Bush's strong leadership <http://www.AgendaforAmerica.com> to protect America and John Kerry's weak record <http://www.GeorgeWBush.com/KerryMediaCenter/> of proposing reckless cuts to our defense and intelligence budgets.

They will not succeed.

Sincerely,

Ken Mehlman

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
What Ken says is true but what he doesn't say is that this stump speech by Kerry and New York Democrat Times article on 380 tons of missing plastic explosives in Iraq is not news. The story is in fact 19 months old and right out of the NY Times archives. It appears that Kerry has run out of material to criticize President Bush with and has to resort to recycling old news. This would appear to be a well coordinated effort between the Kerry Campaign and the New York Time, the media wing of the Democrat Party. No sooner did the paper hit the streets than Kerry hit the stump with a well prepared speech voicing the same story as though it were news and as Kerry put it, "another huge blunder by Bush". He then went on to say that this "news" presents a "new" threat to "America and our troops in Iraq. More lies, spin, and distortions from the Kerry Campaign.

The missing explosives have been known about ever since we overthrew Saddam Hussein and the fact is that no one really knows when they disappeared. It's entirely possible that they were gone before we ever got into that part of the country. The explosives were discovered missing in April of 2003 when the depot was checked right after the invasion. (We now know, thanks to NBC, who had a reporter embedded with the 101st Airborne, that when they got there, as soon as they could break through enemy forces, the containers seals were broken and these weapons had already been stolen BEFORE we could get there) How Kerry thinks we should have been guarding it before we got there is beyond me. From the sound of his rhetoric, he seems to be saying that George W. Bush should have parachuted in himself with an M16 over his shoulder and stood guard on the bunker while our troops were invading. Mohamed Albaradi, after seeing this story brought up again by the New York Times, decided a new report to the UN would be in order adding to the story. But then again, we have to remember that Albaradi was working for the corrupt UN and involved with the UN Oil For Food scandal, as was Hanz Blix. I have serious questions about their sincerity to actually find any WMD in Iraq.

What I find ironic is the degree to which Kerry has been criticizing Bush for being too aggressive in his fight against terrorism, then, to use his new rhetoric indicating that he would be more aggressive. Yes, Bush has been very aggressive in his fight against terrorism, I just can’t imagine an antiwar, anti-military, liberal being more aggressive in war, or even engaging in war at all for that matter. Kerry himself has stated that he would “respond” to any further attacks aggressively but resists preemptive action. John Edwards would just rather sew them after an attack. The records of President Bush and Dick Cheney vs. John Kerry and John Edwards are as different as night and day on the issue of war. How can Kerry possibly think that he could be more effective in this war that he knows so little about? He doesn't even seem to realize the the French, Germans, and Russians have refused to get involved even if he is elected. That pretty much eliminates Kerry's "hope" of using the UN to solve his problems for him.

Which team do you trust more to protect our country? Two antiwar lawyers with experience in the courtroom, or Bush and Cheney with three years experience fighting terrorism and decades of experience in defense on Cheney’s part. It’s like comparing a shotgun to a paint gun. Don't we want the best team running the war against terrorism?

In addition to the above, we now know, thanks to the Drudge Report http://www.drudgereport.com/ that CBS and 60 Minutes is behind this! Matt Drudge has a report on his website showing that CBS had planned for this to be an “October Surprise” against Bush to be released on Oct. 31st. It backfired on them, AGAIN! CBS needs to be sanctioned.

This won't be the last hit piece of the week. I suspect that there will be a 'major story' involving claims of racial discrimination or what not designed to boost turnout among African-Americans. 60 Minutes already has a story about the murder of Emmett Till (http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/amex/till/) slated to run this Sunday night

CBS, however, had another major story set to air on "60 Minutes" Sunday: new reporting on the racially motivated slaying of 14-year-old Emmett Till in Mississippi in 1955. It also could not tape enough Iraq interviews in time for the Sunday broadcast.

It's not supposed to happen to "non-partisan," "objective" Senior political analysts for a major news organization. He's supposed to be dispassionate.
