Yesterday was my wife's and mine first anniversary so I sent her a dozen pink roses, pink is her favorite color. They arrived....there was 11 not 12, they were all already open and four of them were wilted. :cuss A replacement is on the way and FTD and I are going to be talking refund.

yeah, it depends on their contracted ftd florist... sometimes you will get a big ass thing of flowers and sometimes you get some tiny piece of shit it looks like some 5yr old made by picking his mothers flowers in the back yard... you just have to go through a florist directly and stick with one you like...

The anniversary was great and my wife was really good about the whole thing.

Next time, I pay Mouse to "get" flowers for me.

I'm glad it all worked out. I always use a local florist to make sure they get it right.
Congratulations!

Shut your pie hole you never give your wife flowers. Or are you talking about your girls on the side? :lmao

1800flowers.com works pretty well. Lots of choices. I have used them a few times.

Yep.... what he said.

I used them in September for my wife... they got the order wrong though (no vase when there should have been one).... they sent me a 50 dollar refund.

the story gets better....the replacement bouquet arrived...12 roses..still not very good condition...called FTD back on this...they said they would contact the florist and the florist would call me...the florist called the house and in a very snotty tone asked my wife "well, what was wrong with them" and that she inspected the flowers personally and didn't see the problem. I called FTD back again and they took it out of the florists hands and advised me I would be getting a full refund.

That's good to know, Mikey. I was thinking of using FTD either this weekend on next for a surprise for my GF.

Guess I'll try the 1800Flowers route.

i think girls are more impressed/suprised when you give them to them personally... go to the flower shop and buy some and hand deliver them! that is if you live in the same area...

Yeah, but if your internet honey lives far away then that's as good as it gets.

You are right Clan...and I usually do that...its just that I wanted to get her some decent flowers and the good flower places are closed by the time I get off of work. There is a great place by me at West Ave. and Blanco called the San Antonio Flower Company...its basically a little warehouse where you select your own flowers and its pretty inexpensive.

If your internet honey lives far away, then they're probably an undercover officer posing as a 13 year old girl and would rather have donuts anyways.
