I called the City Manager's office and they acted like I was crazy.
The secretary said "we don't have trick or treat in Converse".
I said, that's funny because my kids have been going for years in Converse.
Then I called the Converse PD and they too were clueless.

Anybody have any info?
Is SA doing it on Saturday night?

Why do you go to Converse to trick or treat anyway?

Where else should I go? I live there.

I hope it is on Saturday night because that's when we're going out.

Sorry! Didn't know you live there. It sounded like you wanted to go there to TOT. You know, like the people that take there kids to 'rich' neighborhoods.

Yeah, I know. My MIL does that. :rolleyes

We have folks in our area who go all out for Halloween and have their houses all decked out so that's why we like to go. And for the goodies too!

Cool! Sounds like fun.

Unfortunately, most people don't do Halloween anymore. Cuz it's evil.

In our neighborhood, there is a pre-Halloween "gag" that happens. Someone starts it by bagging up candy and other things and rings your door bell and runs off leaving it on your doorstep. There's a little ghost stapled to the bag and instructions to place the ghost in your window and you also have to "ghost" two other people in the neighborhood.

I always leave a six pack of Fat Tire and a bottle of wine for the parents in the bag.

For a minute there I thought you were gonna say that someone left a flaming bag of pooh.
