Very vocal player who is an outstanding floor leader ... Runs floor very well and is an excellent transition player ... Takes ball to the hoop aggressively ... Draws fouls and hits his free throws ... Outstanding rebounder at 6-3 ... Has greatly improved his outside shooting to the point where he can burn you consistently from 3-point range ... As a sophomore, averaged 5.2 ppg in non-conference games, but well more than doubled that to 13.8 ppg in Patriot League contests ... Earned second-team All-Patriot League honors ... Ranked fifth in the league in scoring in conference games and 15th overall (10.1) ... Also ranked seventh in rebounding (5.0), third in free-throw percentage (.818), 10th in field-goal percentage (.461), fifth in steals (1.6) and ninth in assists (2.6) ... An all-conference and all-county selection at Quince Orchard High ... Played in the D.C. Area All-Star Game, the Montgomery County All-Star Game and the Five-Star Camp All-Star game.

Where does he fit in this puzzle? Too small to help the forwards... does he play point?

Bruno

The surprising thing is that he hasn't played a lot with Spurs SL (36 min in 6 games).

it is just a 4th PG for training camp. Just to have 4 teams to work with and bring tony back slowly after the finger injury. He will not make the team

Sounds good, at 6'3", a PG or small swingman.
Nice hustle numbers and is a scorer.

What's the harm in trying him out?

It seems that he played SG/SF in NCAA.
He is very stong too (6'3", 221 lbs) : maybe the next Devin Brown (or not) ?

Pretty much half the team would have to be in a coma before this guy would play a regular season game. Dude needs a season or two in the D-League to learn the point.

So the Rockets blew the entire MLE on Matt Haryasz, right?

Douche.

They know what they're doing but who the hell is Charles Lee??

Just another scrub in spurs uniform...

Who the hell is Matt Haryasz??

Who the hell is Steve Novak??

Who the hell is Kelenna Azubuike??

Well, in the Rockets' case we'll get to know their scrubs since all the guys they actually give real money will spend the season on the IR.

Charles Lee won't make it to the regular season.

All of those players are probably better than the scrubs the spurs signed for cheap (Elson, Butler, Bonner, Williams etc. etc. etc. )

Yeah, since you know so much about them.

You obviously didn't even know the Rockets signed them.

If you'd like for me to tell you more about your own team, just ask.

It looks like he'd be a small shooting guard if he ever made the NBA. He doesn't look to have any point guard skills.

Well like Chump said, somebody has to come to training camp.

I'm guessing he has long arms because he had a game of 18 rebounds in college, and seems to be a good rebounder overall.

Never seen this guy play but there's a decent chance he's better than Elson.

small SG? barrys replacement or benos?

DannyT
09-07-2006, 03:49 PM
now that we have a replacement to fill benos and bones' small sized shoes.....its time to trade for bonzi......

ChumpDumper

Why does Sacramento want either of those guys again?

Is it the duplicaiton of skills and overcrowding of positions?

Or is it the luxury tax that would be paid on both of them?

If the Kings would be willing to pay for those two, they'd be willing to pay for Bonzi?

Charles was the 2006 Player of the Year in the Patriot League so he must have something.

I saw Bucknell last year but I don't remember Lee specifically...I just remember their post player McNaughton who was pretty good (I remember his name because I wondered at the time if he was related to someone I know named McNaughton).

wtf do we need a 6-3 SG, we should focus on 6-8 sf/sg.....

You gotta have some decent practice players at camp, TDMVPDPOY. BTW, we don't exactly know when TP will be 100% cleared for practice.

I think he played in Kentucky. He left college a year too early (junior) and as a result didn't get drafted.

Positives: decent athlete

Rest of his game: Garbage
